Application areas: Furniture Leather, Shoes, Bags & Accessories, Leather Clothing

For: Aniline leather

Penetrated stains on aniline (porous smooth leather) and suede or nubuck are not easy to remove. With water-based cleaners, the leather gets wet and in most cases the stains stay visible. Aniline Stain Remover is a special product formulated to remove water stains and other water-based stains from aniline leather. Stains caused by spillages other than water may not be removed completely but will show a significant improvement. It is important to treat these stains as soon as possible.

Please note:
This product will not remove grease, fat or oil stains.
This product is not suitable for antique leather (older than 30 years) which is extremely hard and cracked leather.

Water Marks On Aniline Furniture

For sensitive aniline furniture, aniline bags and aniline shoes, use Aniline Stain Remover. Every piece of leather is different and can react differently to the same treatment. We therefore cannot guarantee the removal of water marks. However, we have achieved excellent results with this method.

Application: Always test in a hidden area first. Wear gloves. Apply fixative with a soft cloth evenly from seam to seam (wet the area well). Don’t rub too hard! Otherwise you might damage the softened surface. To speed up drying, a hair dryer (cold air!) can be used. Repeat the process until no further improvement can be achieved.

After drying, new leathers (visually like new and soft) should be protected intensively with COLOURLOCK Aniline Cream to avoid new stains. Older leather (visible patina) should be protected with COLOURLOCK Elephant Leather Preserver.

Water Marks On Suede Or Nubuck Furniture

Penetrated stains on suede and nubuck are not easy to remove. Rarely can the stains be completely removed. However, significant improvements can be achieved. Application: Always test in a hidden area. Wear gloves. Apply Aniline Stain Remover evenly with a soft cloth from seam to seam (wet well). Don’t rub too hard! Otherwise you might damage the softened surface. To speed up drying, a hair dryer (cold air!) can be used. Repeat the process until no further improvement can be achieved. After drying, sand the surface with COLOURLOCK Leather Sanding Pad and finish with COLOURLOCK Aniline Protector and COLOURLOCK Waterproofing.

Water Marks On Garments (Aniline, Suede, Nubuck)

Clothing leather has the advantage that it can be completely washed. This avoids more marks being caused by local cleaning attempts. Please order COLOURLOCK Wash Concentrate Kit and wash the garment as per instructions provided in the kit.

Careful: The product contains natural volatile acids. Avoid skin contact, use rubber gloves. Wash off skin or eyes with generous amounts of water. Keep away from children.
Application: Cleaners & Degreasers
Application Area: Bags & Cases, Car, Furniture, Leather Cloth, Shoes & Boots

OUTSTANDING results!!

This product is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I had 2 very expensive natural leather chairs (no dye) that were stained beyond repair (so we thought). I was extremely nervous to use this product as I did not want to damage the leather any further. We gave it a shot and were SO impressed with the results. They almost look better than new. The leather darkened slightly, but we actually like the color even better. I would highly recommend this product and the rest of the products in this line.

Excellent product

Worked amazingly on a 6 month old water stain on my soft leather chair. I’m so happy this was my last effort before having to throw out a $1700 chair and ottoman

Update: This actually does work on dog saliva!

Although this product may work on other stains, I was unable to remove dog saliva stains from my two leather chairs. Such stains are not easy to remove but I had hoped this product might be able to do so.Update: I had two very expensive leather chairs that my dog loves to sleep on but ruined with his drool/saliva. Both chairs had set in saliva stains that were several years old. Saliva on leather is quite difficult to remove but much to my surprise, after several additional applications, one of the chairs is stain free and the other is so much better and is fading with each application. After reading other comments, that repeated applications actually made a difference, I decided to try it myself. I'm so happy I did! This product saved me thousands of dollars in not having to replace my two leather chairs! Great product!

It’s tricky but it works

So when I use this for the first time it did not work at all. I wrote an one-star review and submitted it. Then I decided to give it another try since I can’t return this anyway. It turns out that how you apply it makes a difference. I tried a few methods but this is so far the most effective method:Wet a piece of microfiber cloth using the productApply in circular motion and with pressure in stained areaRepeat the 2 steps above till the stained spots and area around are significantly darkened, you should not be able see the water stain at this point (only darkened leather)Let dryRepeat all steps above if needed

Works as advertised

A bit on the pricey side for the quantity you get, but really brings back porous, unsealed leather.

It made a marked difference on a water stained purse with vachetta leather, but did not totally remove the stains. The leather appeared fine after use and I did condition after use to protect the bag.

smells like diluted vinegar which is on a lot of diy ...

i had 100 percent water stain. the product lightened the stain barely even after several applications. smells like diluted vinegar which is on a lot of diy that you see. i will use the rest of it to try to lift my water stains but it is going to take a ton of work and this product does not work like advertised. I also have Aticama seats that are difficult to clean and care for. may work on a different aniline leather? i did contact company prior to ordering. product doesnt lift the dye out of the seat unless you use it multiple times.

Didn't work.

The product didn't work for me ,however, customer service was excellent in helping to find a way to help you. Even encouraged you to send them photos so they can be most helpful. I guess it depends on your specific need.
