Colourlock sanding pad (Good quality pad)
This pad is a good quality sanding pad I bought after seeing a video on Matt Moreman's YouTube channel (Obsessed Garage). He uses this pad on a Corvette he's getting ready to sell and wanted to freshen up the Alcantara inside the cabin. I have a 370z with Alcantara seats and the material next to the arm rests on both doors. I'm really not a big fan of Alcantara but I got the car slightly used (very low mileage) but it had some slight matting down on the Alcantara so I figured i'd give this a shot as it's supposed to refreshen the original appearance of the Alcantara fabric and fluff up the fibers. The key here is to lightly scrub the surface. LIGHTLY. If you go in scratching as hard as you can, forget it, you'll probably ruin your Alcantara. But if you use this as directed, they work fantastic. They really do make the material look new again. Couple this with a good quality Alcantara cleaning solution and a good quality microfiber and you have a winning combination. Matt recommends Swissvax Forte (it's expensive though) but there are other (cheaper) alternatives that work equally as well. SONAX is one of them and about 1/3 the price. Give that a try. There are also a few others out there including Colourlock's own solutions for Alcantara.

Alcantara steering wheel
I screwed up my Alcantara steering wheel using a leather brush and cleaner. This product worked well to “lightly” shave and smooth off the damage.
