Rep-Glue is is a very fine glue for upstanding fibres of cuts and impact damages. Unlike normal adhesives, Rep-Glue has no filling effect, which is important in repairing minor damages. The use of Rep-Glue saves a lot of time repairing upstanding fibres and edges.
Shake Rep-Glue before use and carefully apply the glue with the brush under the raised edges or fibres. Wipe the excess away and dry with a heat gun. Choose a fitting repair grain, heat the grain and press down the upstanding fibres back into the original position. To assure the durability of the repair with Rep-Glue, the repair has to be stabilised with Leather Colour and Top Coat. Leather Filler has to be used additionally if filling is required.
